How to get access to Match Package Composer

Accessing IPSC Match Package Composer

IPSC Match Package Composer is available to authorised IPSC members through the IPSC website. Users who need to create or manage a match package must first sign in to their IPSC account. Once signed in, the Match Package Composer option will be available from the member area or main navigation, depending on the user’s level of access.

Access to the Composer is controlled by user permissions. Not every registered website user will automatically have permission to create or edit match packages. Match designers and other authorised users can be granted the appropriate access by the system administrator, while administrators have additional permissions to manage packages and users. This ensures that match packages can only be created or modified by people who are authorised to do so.

When a user opens Match Package Composer, they will see the match packages they are permitted to access. A user can create a new package, continue working on their own draft packages, or open packages for which they have been granted access. Match packages progress through defined stages such as Draft, Approved and Published, with additional controls applied when a package is submitted for sanctioning.

For users who have not yet been granted access, the website can provide an “Request Access” option. This allows the user to identify themselves and request permission to use Match Package Composer without giving every website visitor access to the application. Once the request has been reviewed and approved, the appropriate permissions can be assigned to their account.

Note: the email used for verification must be the same used for your IPSC Australia membership, and your user name will be allocated by IPSC Australia
